Viral Video: Man With AC Ticket Misses Train Home Due To Overcrowded Coach

"Dude you should demand free travel for life.. this is such a disaster to face after having a booked premium class ticket," commented one user on the post.

People who are staying away from their families in other cities, try to go home during Diwali and celebrate the festival with their family members. However, there is always a huge rush in trains, the most preferred mode of transportation, which makes travelling uncomfortable. A somewhat similar incident happened with a man from Gujarat.

Anshul Sharma, a 27-year-old, took to microblogging site X, formerly Twitter, to express his frustration of missing his train despite having a confirmed 3-tier AC ticket to his hometown in Ratlam, MP.

"Thanks for ruining my Diwali. This is what you get even when you have a confirmed 3rd AC ticket. No help from the Police. Many people like me were not able to board," read the caption of the post shared along with the video by Sharma.

In the video one can see a crowd of individuals trying to board the train despite the coach being tightly packed, making it difficult for others to board the train.

In a subsequent tweet Sharma wrote, "The labour crowd thrown me out of the train. They locked the doors and they did not let anyone enter into the train. Police said clearly no to help me and started laughing at the situation."

Since being shared, the clip has amassed over 2 million views, 15k likes and tons of comments.

"Dude you should demand free travel for life.. this is such a disaster to face after having a booked premium class ticket," commented one user on the post.

"Agli baar travel 1 week before. Last minute mein aisa hona normal hai. We r a 1 billion strong ppl with inadequate rail infra to support us," suggested one user.

A third shared a similar experience and wrote, Same thing happened with Goa Express on 9th Nov, AC coaches filled with unreserved passengers. No RPF onboard, people with ticket could not board due to which multiple cases of chain pulling. All TTE had to sit in one coach hiding their faces due to multiple complains."
