A man wore a bra with his trousers to shoot an Instagram reel in a crowded market in Haryana's Panipat and soon, he was gheraoed and thrashed by the crowd. The shopkeepers slapped and punched him for filming an "obscene" reel in front of the crowd. A video that has gone viral on social media shows the man asking the crowd to let him go, but he was not allowed to leave the market until he apologised.

The video was shared by a user named Parikshit Singh Rana who captioned it, "In order to become famous, some people do not even shy away from doing obscene things. This is the case of Panipat in Haryana where these people who were shooting obscene videos were given a warm welcome by the public!"
Some media reports claimed that women in the market felt uncomfortable due to the obscene ct in the middle of the market. The shopkeepers asked him to stop, leading to an argument between them. The man explained that he is famous on social media platforms and has made such content in the past. He also claimed that his followers like such content and also said that his videos often go viral on social media.
No police complaint has been filed so far. The man was counselled by shopkeepers and was told such reels impact the society negatively. The man was allowed to leave only after he apologised to them and promised that he would not repeat the same thing.
The video is being shared widely. Many people criticised the man for shooting such a video for attention, while others asked why can't men shoot such videos if women can.
