A video of an elderly man breaking his 'Karwa Chauth' fast after looking at adult actor Mia Khalifa's picture has gone viral on social media. In the video, the man is seen on the terrace, holding the traditional thali with a sieve and an earthen lamp, as done by women who observe the fast for their husband's long life.

The video has received mixed reactions on social media as many termed it creepy, while some praised the man for his "humour". A user criticised the man for "making fun" of the Hindu festival.
"Karwa Chauth' is a sacred Hindu festival which shows the selfless love of a wife for her husband and is observed for the longevity of the husband. Don't make fun of it like this. You are old, that's why I am controlling my tongue, otherwise, I would have torn you apart," he said.

"Mia khalifa got a very long life," a user said on a lighter note, while another commented, "This is creepy...What the hell is going on in this world".
A similar video of another elderly man performing the Karwa Chauth ritual in front of Mia Khalifa's photograph has surfaced online.
A user said such beautiful celebrations have been reduced to indulgent displays, driven by the desire for mere attention and views. "Nothing just their grandchildren made them do this just for some likes and engagement," another person wrote in comments.
