Video: Sparks Fly On Road As Speeding Car Drags Scooter For Over Hundreds Of Metres In Lucknow
The car driver ignored bystanders' attempts to stop him and dragged the scooter for several hundred metres.
A shocking video came from Uttar Pradesh's Lucknow where a speeding car hit a scooter and then dragged it for half a kilometre as sparks flew from the vehicle.
In the viral video, a red Hyundai car could be seen dragging the scooter beneath its bonnet with a tremendous amount of sparks being created due to friction.
The passerby signals the car driver to stop but the driver does not heed the requests and rather speeds up the vehicle.
The incident occurred under the limits of the PGI police station in Lucknow, where the car had hit the scooter, as per the media reports. Two people were riding the scooter who were on their way to Mohanlalganj.

The two riders fell on the road after being hit by the car and the scooter got stuck in the bonnet of the vehicle.
After hitting the scooter, the car driver did not stop and ignored the appeals by the passerby to apply for breaks.
The police were informed about the incident reached the spot and followed the car eventually stopping it.
The driver was identified as Chandra Prakash, a resident of Prayagraj. The accused driver has been arrested by the police. The injured scooter riders were admitted to the hospital and discharged after receiving treatment.
