Video: Man Suffers Heart Attack While Riding Bike On Mysuru's Bogadi Ring Road, Dies

The victim, identified as Ravi from Nanjadevanapura village in Chamarajanagar taluk, was pronounced dead following the accident.

Mysuru news: A 40-year-old man died after suffering a heart attack while riding his bike on Bogadi Ring Road. The incident, captured on CCTV, showed the man losing consciousness and crashing into a wall.

The victim, identified as Ravi from Nanjadevanapura village in Chamarajanagar taluk, was pronounced dead following the accident. The footage revealed the last moments when Ravi, unable to control his bike due to the sudden medical emergency, collided with the wall.

Local authorities have registered a case at the Kuvempunagar Traffic Police Station, and further investigations are underway. The tragic incident highlights the critical importance of timely medical attention for individuals with underlying health conditions.

In another incident, a Bengaluru Metropolitan Transport Corporation (BMTC) driver suffered a heart attack while driving the vehicle to Dasanapura area and collapsed near the steering wheel. In the meantime, he also lost control of the vehicle which slightly hit another BMTC bus. The CCTV captured the incident and showed the driver collapsing on the left side of the steering wheel.

Heart Attack Precautions

If someone experiences a heart attack, bystanders should immediately call the local emergency number to seek medical assistance. While waiting for help to arrive, the affected person should chew and swallow an aspirin as it helps prevent blood clots and may reduce heart damage.

If the person becomes unconscious, a bystander should perform CPR. If available, an automated external defibrillator (AED) can also be used to assist in resuscitation.
