Fake IPS: Mithilesh Majhi, the youth from Bihar's Jamui, who was duped of Rs 2 lakh in the hopes of becoming an IPS officer, has now revealed that he has a new dream. Mithilesh became known across the country overnight — thanks to the power of the Internet. His video of walking into the Sikandra police station of Jamui garnered lakhs of views and was shared on various social media platforms. He now says that he wants to help "save people".
In a new video, the 18-year-old Mithilesh Majhi has shared his new dream. In the viral video of his interview, he says that he has given up on his hopes of becoming a police officer and wants to become a "doctor". "Now, I do not want to become a police officer... I want to become a doctor." When asked why he harboured such an ambition, Mithilesh says: "I want to save people."

Mithilesh's latest video has also gone viral with people posting funny comments like "Munna bhai MBBS Bihar edition", "India Is Not For Beginners", and "Someone already started preparing an MBBS degree for him..."

How 'Fake IPS' Mithilesh Was Scammed Into Paying Rs 2 Lakh
On September 20, Sikandra cops in Jamui caught the 18-year-old Mithilesh roaming around in the Khaira area, wearing an IPS uniform. He was allegedly boasting about his "IPS status" and showing off at the time.
He was taken into custody and taken to the Sikandra police station. During questioning, Mithilesh said that he was a resident of the Halsi police station area in Lakhisarai.
He said that he paid Rs 2 lakh to the scamster, who gave him a uniform and a pistol. The pistol later turned out to be a fake. A bike was also seized from Mithilesh. He was going from Khaira police station area to Halsi when he was arrested.
