Bengaluru Man Takes Uber Ride, Gets Emergency Notification After Getting Stuck In Traffic
The man who goes by the handle @itsrohanvj shared a screenshot of the notification on X (formerly Twitter) and captioned the post, "Brother, this is not an emergency; this is Bengaluru traffic."
Bengaluru is infamous for its traffic woes. Often we hear stories about people stuck for hours in the city during peak traffic hours and auto drivers asking for higher fares due to the slow moving traffic. In another such incident, a man, who was travelling in an Uber in the city recently, was held up in traffic when he received an emergency alarm notification from the app asking whether everything is in order.
The notification from the cab service read, "Need help? Your vehicle has been stationary for a while. Please let us know if everything is OK."
