IFS Officer Shares Video Of Baby Cobra Found Hiding Inside A Shoe. Watch

At one point, the cobra lunges towards the person capturing the video, and hisses menacingly at him.

Snakes are amongst the most feared and hated predators on earth. And when it is a cobra, one must be extra vigilant as some of them, like the King Cobra’s are so venomous that the amount of neurotoxin they deliver in a single bite is enough to kill a few people. They are also capable of sliding into the trickiest of spots. One such video of a baby cobra holed up inside a woman's shoe has gone viral on the internet.

''Cobra trying a new footwear. Jokes apart, as the monsoon is coming to a close, please be extra careful,'' reads the caption of the video shared by Indian Forest Service (IFS) Officer Susanta Nanda on X, formerly Twitter.

The video opens to show a baby cobra hiding inside a woman's footwear. It is also seen raising its hood and hissing at the camera. At one point it also lunges towards the person capturing the video.

Since being shared, the clip has amassed close to 62,000 views, and comments calling the video scary.

"We were always taught to turn out boots upside down before wearing them for good reason, from scorpions to snakes...u never know," commented one user on the post.

"It is really dangerous.I had experience," wrote another user.

"Good post.Monsoons, extreme winters and summers make them wriggle out of their comfort homes. The skin burns in summer and in winter they wish to have a sun bath....," commented a third.

While a fourth asked, "Is this baby is as venomous as big 1 ??."
