AirAsia Chief Executive Officer (CEO) Tony Fernandes took to LinkedIn on Monday to appreciate the low-cost Malaysian airline for its work culture. However, it was not his positive sentiments that caught the attention of the internet users, but a shirtless picture of himself chairing a management meeting. Though it might sound bizarre, Fernandes was also taking a massage in the conference room attending the meeting. The post has been receiving widespread criticism with some calling it "inappropriate"
"Was a stressful week and Veranita Yosephine suggested a massage. Got to love Indonesia and AirAsia culture that I Can have a massage and do a management meeting," the LinkedIn post of Fernandes read.
"We are making big progress and I have now finalized Capital A structure. Exciting days ahead. Proud of what we have built and never have lost sight of the finish," the post further read.

The post has garnered criticism from LinkedIn users.
One of the user on seeing the post wrote, "You could have wrapped up the meeting and then had your massage. I don't think in a civilised culture this seems appropriate."
"Tony when you said Air Asia had an open culture I didn't expect it to be THIS open...," wrote another user.
"Wah kya life hai....if everyone in your company start doing this during review meeting...then?," commented a third.
"Appalling indeed. This has nothing to do with the Indonesian culture. May be has to do with the lack of culture at AirAsia . This is one of the really disgusting updates on LinkedIn in a while," wrote a fourth.
"Great. Let me know if there is any job opening...and if also this option is available for that position or not," commented a fifth sarcastically.
