Eighteen years after he raped two of his female disciples, Dera Sacha Sauda chief Gurmeet Ram Rahim Singh was on Monday sentenced to 20 years jail for rape and criminal intimidation and fined Rs 30 lakh. 10 years imprisonment in each of the two cases of rape. Both the sentences will run consecutively

Naveen reveals that he has worked for Gurmeet Ram Rahim Singh. Right after riots and the deaths of 32 people(number rose to 38 later) in Panchkula post conviction of Ram Rahim, Naveen sent out a message to his former students of Dera Sacha Sauda ashram

Naveen posted a long message about his experience at the ashram referring to it as 'addaa'! He writes - "Share everybody so it could reach to my students who ignore my words. I worked for 3 years at Ram Rahim’s ‘addaa’ (calling it an ashram won’t be appropriate) teaching the students who were preparing for IAS for free. I constantly told them to have faith more in books than on Baba. They must’ve understood today, what I said then! Not the Baba, but I liked the helpers/devotees there. As a friend I told some of the devotees to not have this blind faith but they stopped me by saying you will not understand the greatness of Baba. Now go ask the bereaved family members of those 32 dead people how great Baba is. There’s more I want to write but who is going to pay heed? If people like us were heard, then the crowds would’ve destroyed the homes & properties of Baba and not the common man who had nothing to do in this matter."

This revelation by Naveen got his fans concerned about him and when one such person expressed her worry for him, he replies to her that it was impossible for him to stay quiet after the deaths.
