'BJP Answers Everything With Jai Shri Ram': T'gana CM Revanth Reddy On PM Modi's Handling Of Terror Attacks

Revanth Reddy criticised PM Modi's political-centric approach and alleged failures in addressing national security, particularly regarding the Pulwama attack.

Telangana Chief Minister Revanth Reddy remarked on Friday that the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) consistently responds with 'Jai Sri Ram' to all matters. CM Reddy made this statement in response to a reporter's question regarding the BJP's approach to addressing terror attacks in the country and the divide between the countries when it comes to money. 

On Friday, Reddy criticised PM Modi's political-centric approach, alleged failures in addressing national security, particularly regarding the Pulwama attack. Stating that he want to be straightforward, Reddy said that the BJP was looking for some advantage. He said that Gujarat was a well-developed state and it just meant that whoever was sitting in the main seat was looking for the most of it. He said that for Prime Minister Narendra Modi, everything was politics, and about winning the elections. So Modi was not thinking for the country. 

"...For Modi, everything is politics, everything is about winning elections. So, Modi's thinking is not right for the country. So, the country needs to be without BJP, without Modi now. They answer everything with 'Jai Sri Ram'”.

“Pulwama incident is a classic example,” he said.

Citing the Pulwama attack, he questioned why the Intelligence Bureau and Research and Analysis Wing allegedly was not put to work. “They have failed. What is the IB doing? What is the Intelligence network doing? Modi ji attempted political benefit from the surgical strike after the Pulwama incident. My question to him is - What are you doing?”

“Why did the Pulwama incident happen? Why did you let it happen? What are you doing about internal security? Why did you not use agencies like IB, and R&AW? It is your failure...Nobody knows to date if a surgical strike actually took place. So, internal security is Congress' responsibility," he said. 

Further, he said that the Congress wasn’t ready to leave the country in “anyone’s hands”.
