Telangana CM K Chandrasekhar Rao Calls For TRS Executive Meeting On Tuesday

the party is expected to discuss the Centre's attacks on targeted TRS leaders using agencies such as the Income Tax Department and the Enforcement Directorate (ED)

A joint meeting of the TRS Legislative Party (MLAs and MLCs), Parliamentary Party (MPs) and TRS state executive will be held at  Telangana Bhavan under the chairmanship of the party supremo and Telangana CM K Chandrasekhar Rao on Tuesday.

The meeting is likely to discuss the strategy to strengthen the organisation and counter the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) in the next Assembly elections, said an ABP Desam report. It will also look at the party's performance in the recent by-election for the Munugode Assembly seat.

In the crucial meeting, the party is expected to discuss the Centre's attacks on targeted TRS leaders using agencies such as the Income Tax Department and the Enforcement Directorate (ED). The meeting is also anticipated to address organisational issues in the aftermath of the party's decision last month to alter its name to Bharat Rashtra Samithi (BRS) in order to expand its activities to other states.

KCR may explain the agenda and strategy of BRS to party leaders and provide recommendations on how the party should function at various levels under the new name. The TRS chief is expected to ask party leaders to expose the BJP conspiracy across the state.

The decision to convene the key meeting came a day after Prime Minister Narendra Modi's visit to Telangana. While addressing BJP workers at Begumpet Airport in Hyderabad, PM Modi said, "It's sad that those who prospered in the name of Telangana, went ahead, came to power, pushed the state back. Telangana's government and leaders always do injustice to the state's capability and the talent of its people."

"The political party that people of Telangana trusted the most, is the party that did the biggest betrayal to Telangana. When the darkness grows, Lotus starts blooming in that situation. Right before dawn, Lotus can be seen blooming in Telangana," The PM said, as quoted by ANI.
