Amit Shah To Meet Oscar-Winning RRR Team During Visit To Telangana On April 23

Union Home Minister Amit Shah will on Sunday meet the team of ‘RRR’, the film that won an Oscar for its popular song 'Naatu Naatu'. During his visit to Telangana, Shah will meet the artists associated with the award-winning song from the S.S. Rajamouli film at the Novotel Hotel near Rajiv Gandhi International Airport.
Music director M.M. Keeravani, lyricist Chandrabose, Rajamouli, actors Ram Charan, NTR Jr, singers Rahul Sipligunj and Kaala Bhairava, and choreographer Prem Rakshith are likely to be present during the meeting. Amit Shah will also dine with them for 40 minutes.
Last month, 'Naatu Naatu' from SS Rajamouli’s blockbuster ‘RRR’ won the Oscars for Best Original Song, and become the first Indian and Asian song to receive the coveted award.
Amit Shah is scheduled to meet the RRR team soon after landing at Rajiv Gandhi Airport around 4 p.m. on Sunday. He will then leave for Chevella, near Hyderabad, by road as part of the 'Parliament Prabhas Yojana' programme, news agency IANS reported.
Meanwhile, the party's state leadership is busy making a list of leaders from other parties who will be joining the BJP in the presence of Amit Shah at the Chevella meeting.

Reportedly, former minister Jupally Krishna Rao and former MP Ponguleti Srinivas Reddy are likely to join the BJP. They were recently suspended from the Bharat Rashtra Samithi (BRS) for anti-party activities.
On April 8, Prime Minister Narendra Modi visited Hyderabad. During his visit, the Prime Minister launched several developmental projects and laid the foundation stone for various infrastructure projects worth Rs 11,355 crore.
The Prime Minister also flagged off the Vande Bharat train between Hyderabad and Tirupati and laid the foundation for the modernisation of Secunderabad Railway Station.
