With the launch of the Apple iPhone 15 days away, new dummies of the iPhone 15 Pro and iPhone 15 have surfaced that give us an idea of the potential colours. It is interesting to see that the dummies show the upcoming iPhone 15 line in new pastel colours. The latest iPhone 15 dummies show that the vanilla iPhone 15 and Plus will feature Dynamic Island -- which Apple introduced last year on the Pro models only. Dynamic Island is the pill-shaped area on the iPhone that houses camera hardware and also serves as a shape-changing hub for important iPhone alerts.

UPI ATM Brings Convenient Cash Withdrawal

Using ATMs has become a nuisance in the recent days. For starters, you have to be very careful with your ATM card and ensure you don’t lose it, leave it at the cash-dispensing machine, or worse, get cloned by a crafty bad actor. Furthermore, you need to be careful in entering your ATM code, covering the keypad from any onlooking bystanders. These things could soon be a thing of the past, if the newly introduced UPI ATMs catch on in the country.

Google Pixel 8 India Launch Date Confirmed

We have the confirmed date for the launch of the Google Pixel 8 and Pixel 8 Pro in India. Google will refresh its Pixel line of devices with the Pixel 8 Pro and vanilla Pixel 8 which will succeed last year's Pixel 7 series. The Google Pixel 8 will become available in India a day after the official launch on October 4 at the "Made by Google" event. Similar to the Pixel 7 series, the Pixel 8 lineup will be available on e-commerce platform Flipkart in India, which has been the retail partner for Pixel devices in the country.

Grindr Loses Almost 50 Per Cent Staff Over Return To Work

LGBTQ dating app Grindr has lost almost 50 per cent of its staff after implementing a strict "return to work" policy, the media has reported. Almost 45 per cent of Grindr's employees have quit the company after it made it mandatory in August to return to office. Grindr's revised policy gave employees two weeks to choose between relocating to their respective team’s newly assigned “hub” city to work in-person twice a week or leave the company with severance, according to labour group Communications Workers of America (CWA), says a report by CNN.

Check Point Acquiring Cyber Startup Atmosec

IT security major Check Point has announced it is acquiring a start-up named Atmosec that specialises in the discovery and disconnection of malicious SaaS applications, preventing risky third-party SaaS communications and rectifying SaaS misconfiguration. The widespread adoption of SaaS apps has exposed organisations to an increased array of cyber threats. According to a report by Statista, 130 SaaS applications are used by organizations on average, globally. However, Atmosec’s research says that there are approximately 700 additional SaaS applications in use without IT’s knowledge.
