WhatsApp Ticketing Available On All Delhi Metro Lines
The Delhi Metro Rail Corporation (DMRC) on Thursday announced the expansion of its WhatsApp-based ticketing system. After launching WhatsApp ticketing on the Airport Express Line in June, DMRC has now extended this service to cover all lines in Delhi and the National Capital Region (NCR), including the Gurugram Rapid Metro, in collaboration with Meta and their partner Pelocal Fintech Pvt. Ltd.
Hero Group's Qubo Launches GPS Trackers With Advanced AI
Qubo, the smart devices brand from Hero Electronix, on Thursday, forayed into the GPS trackers category with the launch of its new GPS trackers for cars and bikes at Qubo Connected World 2023. Nokia Opens 6G Lab In Bengaluru
Nokia's first 6G lab has been established at its global R&D centre in Bengaluru, India, the company announced on Thursday. The project intends to accelerate the development of fundamental technologies and innovative use cases underpinned by 6G technology that will address the future needs of both industry and society. The 6G lab was inaugurated virtually by the Minister of Railways, Communications, Electronics & IT Ashwini Vaishnaw. Nokia's 6G lab will function as a platform for collaboration among industry stakeholders and facilitate the testing of innovative solutions while establishing their potential for commercialisation.
Tecno Rolling Out Android 14 For Camon 20 Premier
Handset maker Tecno, owned by Transsion Group, on Thursday said Android 14 is being released for the Camon 20 Premier 5G model. Tecno’s proprietary HiOS 13.6, based on Android 14, will be available starting today. This update will bring a suite of interesting features to elevate the user experience to unprecedented levels. Tecno is among the first brands to roll out Android 14.
Cricket World Cup 2023: Airtel Unveils 2 Special Plans
Network operator Bharti Airtel on Thursday announced special cricket plans with extended benefits for its users. Airtel DTH is collaborating with Star for special recharge offers and it has also simplified the process for customers to add channels from the Start Sports portfolio, the company said. Airtel is offering a Rs 99 plan where users will get unlimited data for two days and a Rs 49 plan that offers 6GB data for 1 day. On the Airtel Xstream box, Airtel is running a quick-access promo-rail, for customers to quickly navigate to the cricket match broadcast in their preferred language.
