To ensure the safety of over 45 crore expected visitors, robust cyber security arrangements have been introduced.

  • A dedicated cyber police station to counter digital threats.
  • Deployment of 56 cyber experts for constant patrolling.
  • Awareness campaigns using 40 Variable Messaging Displays (VMDs).
  • A 24x7 helpline number (1920) and promotion of verified government websites.

Authorities are also tackling fraudulent activities on platforms like AI tools and social media. Teams have identified and are acting against 50 suspicious websites to safeguard attendees.

Maha Kumbh Immersive Experiences: VR Stalls, Drones, More

Visitors can enjoy technology-driven spiritual experiences:

  • 360-Degree Virtual Reality Stalls: Located at key spots, these will showcase highlights such as the grand Peshwai processions, auspicious bathing rituals, and Ganga aarti.
  • Drone Spectacles: A fleet of 2,000 drones will present visually stunning stories, including the "Samudra Manthan" and the emergence of the Amrit Kalash, over the iconic Sangam Nose.

Maha Kumbh 2025: Digital Land Management

Maha Kumbh Nagar, Uttar Pradesh’s latest district, is being prepared with modern facilities and digital land allotments.

Key features:

  • Online availability of allotments via the "Maha Kumbh Land and Facility Allotment" portal.
  • Drone-based land surveys for precise mapping.
  • GIS-based maps on Google Maps for seamless navigation of public utilities and emergency services.

This digitised system ensures smooth coordination among authorities and institutions, minimising delays and queues.

Maha Kumbh 2025: Enhanced Safety

Safety measures include:

  • Remote-Controlled Life Buoys: Deployed across water areas for immediate rescues.
  • Underwater Drones: Offering real-time surveillance of submerged areas, these drones provide updates to a centralised command centre.
  • AI-Powered Cameras: Strategically placed cameras, alongside anti-drone systems, ensure comprehensive surveillance.

Maha Kumbh 2025: Digitised Lost & Found Services

Lost and Found centres, in collaboration with local police, employ digital tools to reunite missing pilgrims with their families.

Services include:

  • Digital registration of missing persons.
  • Announcements through social media platforms and public address systems.

Maha Kumbh 2025: Online Accommodation Booking

From January 10 to February 28, pilgrims can book accommodations in Maha Kumbh Gram via IRCTC and partner platforms. The Tent City, equipped with CCTV surveillance and first aid facilities, ensures a safe and comfortable stay.
