Har Ghar Tiranga Certificate: As India prepares to celebrate its 78th Independence Day, the 'Har Ghar Tiranga' campaign returns for its third phase, running from August 9 to 15, 2024. Originally launched in 2022 as part of the Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav, this campaign has gained significant momentum, encouraging citizens across the country to proudly display the Indian national flag at their homes.

As always, the Independence Day celebrations will begin with the hoisting of our National Flag by Prime Minister Narendra Modi at the Red Fort at 7:30 pm. This will be followed by his address to the nation, which can be watched live on Doordarshan or on the official YouTube channel of the Press Information Bureau (PIB). In case you were wondering, the overall theme for the 78th Independence Day is 'Viksit Bharat'.

For those looking to obtain a 'Har Ghar Tiranga' certificate, the process is simple:

  • Visit the campaign website at harghartiranga.com and click on Upload selfie
  • Choose Click to participate
  • Enter your details, including name, phone number, country, and state, then take and submit your selfie
  • Agree to the pledge and submit the information
  • Finally, click on Generate certificate to download it

In previous years, the campaign has seen widespread involvement, with 23 crore homes displaying the national flag in 2022 and over 10 crore selfies uploaded in 2023.
