Amazfit Active Gets Offline Maps, AI Voice Assistant Via Zepp OS 3.5 Update

Amazfit India has announced it is rolling out Zepp OS 3.5 update for its Amazfit Active smartwatch (read our full review of Amazfit Active here). Initially launched in February with Zepp OS 2.0, the latest update introduces new features such as the Zepp Flow artificial intelligence (AI)-powered voice assistant, improved sports modes, offline maps, and an expanded mini-app ecosystem.
Unlike numerous voice assistants found on smartwatches, Zepp Flow is an AI-driven natural language voice assistant capable of comprehending freeform speech. This enables users to seamlessly initiate workouts, access health data, and handle daily activities through natural conversations.

Another significant feature of the latest Zepp OS 3.5 update is the inclusion of offline maps, allowing users to navigate without an Internet connection. Additionally, Amazfit has bolstered its sports modes, introducing new options for activities such as climbing and hiking. Moreover, smart notifications have been enhanced, enabling users to respond to messages directly from their smartwatch using voice commands.
The Zepp OS 3.5 update brings a revamp to the user interface (UI) of the Amazfit Active, delivering a smoother and visually enhanced experience. This includes new watch faces and simplified navigation, facilitating easier access to essential information and functions for users.

Furthermore, the company has broadened its mini-app ecosystem. Through the Zepp App, users can now access an expanded array of mini-apps, including tools for monitoring body temperature, blood pressure, and environmental quality. This enables more comprehensive health and fitness tracking.
The rollout of the Zepp OS 3.5 update commenced on May 10, 2024, and can be downloaded through the Zepp App. Amazfit Active users globally are encouraged to update their devices to access the latest features and enhancements. This update underscores Amazfit's dedication to enhancing user experience through innovative technology and user-friendly designs.
To recall, the Amazfit Active smartwatch was launched with a multitude of functions such as sleep monitoring, menstrual cycle tracking for women, breathing exercises, step counting, voice memo recording, among others.
