Vivo T1 Pro 5G And Vivo T1 44W Launched In India: Prices, Specs And More

Handset maker Vivo on Wednesday refreshed its T series in India with the Vivo T1 Pro 5G and Vivo T1 44W.

New Delhi: Handset maker Vivo on Wednesday refreshed its T series in India with the Vivo T1 Pro 5G and Vivo T1 44W at a starting price of Rs 23,999 and  Rs 14,499, respectively. The Vivo T1 Pro is the more powerful device among the two and it will be available for pre-booking starting May 5 (tomorrow) and will go on sale from May 7 12am. The Vivo T1 44W, on the other hand, will go on sale starting May 8 12 noon on Vivo’s India e-store, Flipkart and the company's partner retail stores in the country.

The Vivo T1 Pro 5G comes in two colours: Turbo Black and Turbo Cyan while the Vivo T1 44W comes in three colourways: Midnight Galaxy, Starry Sky and Ice Dawn. The Vivo T1 Pro 5G is also available for Rs 24,999 for the 8GB + 128 GB model and the Vivo T1 44W is also available for Rs 15,999 for 6GB + 128 GB model and Rs 17,999 for the 8GB + 128 GB variant.

We are excited to expand our Series T portfolio with the launch of the all-new T1 Pro 5G and T1 44W in India, which are engineered with cutting-edge technology and offer a Turbo charged performance at every level,” Pankaj Gandhi, Director, Online Business, Vivo India, said in a statement.

Vivo T1 Pro 5G and Vivo T1 44W specs and features

The Vivo T1 Pro 5G is powered by the Snapdragon 778G processor and Vivo T1 44W, on the other hand, is powered by Snapdragon 680 SoC. The Vivo T1 Pro 5G supports seven 5G bands and a level-8 Layer Liquid Cooling Technology that covers a heat dissipation area of 32,923 mm which drops the core CPU temperature by 12 °C, the company informed.

The Vivo T1 Pro comes with a 6.44-inch AMOLED display with 6 million:1 contrast ratio and a peak brightness of up to 1300 nits. The display has a standard refresh rate of 60Hz but has a touch sampling rate of 180Hz. The Vivo T1 also sports a 6.44-inch FHD+ AMOLED display and both the models come with Android 12 based FuntouchOS out of the box. The Vivo T1 Pro 5G and Vivo T1 both offer extended RAM 2.0 that offers RAM expansion of up to 4GB depending on the model.

In terms of imaging, the Vivo T1 Pro 5G comes with a 64MP primary sensor, an 8MP ultra-wide sensor and a 2MP macro sensor. There is a 16MP camera in the front for selfies while the Vivo T1 44W has a 50MP primary, a 2MP macro sensor and a 2MP bokeh camera. The Vivo T1 Pro 5G packs in a 4700mAh battery with 66W turbo-charging support while the Vivo T1 sports a 5000mAh battery with 44W charging support.

Other smartphones expected to launch in the country this month include the much-anticipated Google Pixel 6a, the Moto Edge 30, the Poco F4 GT among others.
