Samsung Galaxy S24 Specifications Leaked By Rogue Walmart Listing: Here's What The Phone Will Feature

Samsung Galaxy S24 is tipped to sport a 50-megapixel main camera.

In a recent development, it appears that details about Samsung's upcoming flagship phone, expected to launch on January 17, were inadvertently disclosed through a listing on Walmart.

Although the listing has since been removed, tipster @app_settings managed to capture the information and share it on X (formerly Twitter).

Samsung Galaxy S24 Specifications (Expected)

The leaked details pertain to the Samsung Galaxy S24 Plus, showcasing a design in an Onyx Black finish. While the rear image bears a resemblance to the Galaxy S23 Plus, notable differences have been observed. If the information from the now-removed ad is accurate, the next model is anticipated to feature a larger display, increasing from 6.6 inches to 6.7 inches. Internal modifications are also hinted at in the listing.

According to the specifications mentioned, the RAM on the S23 Plus stood at 8GB, but the forthcoming model is set to elevate this to 12GB — a noteworthy enhancement. This upgrade is believed to align with the anticipated integration of generative AI features, with some of the practical benefits outlined.

One notable feature is 'Live Translate,' enabling users to speak foreign languages on the spot directly from within the Samsung Phone app. Additionally, there's a feature known as 'Generative Edit,' promising the ability to move or remove objects in photos and fill in empty spaces. It's worth noting that an internet connection is required for this functionality, indicating that certain advanced features may rely on online processing rather than on-device capabilities.

The leaked advertisement also highlights several photographic capabilities, including 'nightography zoom' to enhance low-light photography and a high-resolution 50-megapixel camera. It's interesting to note that the pixel count remains consistent with the previous camera. While these details were inadvertently disclosed, it remains to be seen how Samsung will officially unveil and present its next flagship device.
