Samsung has scheduled the launch of the Galaxy F55 5G in India for May 17. The smartphone will debut on Samsung's website, e-commerce site Flipkart, and select retail outlets. The company has revealed that the Galaxy F55 5G will boast a vegan leather rear panel with a saddle stitch design. Moreover, Samsung has affirmed that the device will come in two colour options: Apricot Crush and Raisin Black.

According to the preview image released by Samsung, the upcoming Galaxy F55 smartphone is expected to feature a vertical triple-camera setup on the rear, reminiscent of the recently unveiled Galaxy A-series and M-series handsets. Each camera lens is encased in a golden metallic frame, while the Apricot Crush variant showcases a gold finish on its side frame. However, the Raisin Black variant is anticipated to have a black metallic finish on its frame, complementing its black vegan leather back panel.

The design previewed by Samsung for the Galaxy F55 5G closely resembles that of the Galaxy C55 5G. Furthermore, the colour option appears to be similar to the orange variant released in China. Additionally, considering the introduction of the model in a black colourway, it's probable that this option may also be offered for the Galaxy F55 5G in India.
The Galaxy F55 5G is rumored to run on the Qualcomm Snapdragon 7 Gen 1 processor, coupled with up to 8GB of RAM and up to 256GB of internal storage. It's anticipated to boast a 6.7-inch Super AMOLED display with a refresh rate of 120Hz. In terms of photography, the device is expected to house a 50-megapixel primary camera with optical image stabilization (OIS), accompanied by an 8MP ultra-wide-angle lens and a 2MP macro camera. For selfies, it's likely to feature a 50MP front camera within a punch-hole cutout.
