Realme Pad 2 Lite Launched In India. Price, Features, Specs And More

Realme has priced the Pad 2 Lite competitively to attract budget-conscious consumers.

Handset maker Realme has officially launched its new budget-friendly tablet, the Realme Pad 2 Lite, aimed at delivering strong performance at an affordable price point. Equipped with the MediaTek Helio G99 chipset, the tablet features an octa-core processor and comes with configurations of up to 8GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage. 

Pricing And Availability

Realme has priced the Pad 2 Lite competitively to attract budget-conscious consumers. The base model, which comes with 4GB of RAM and 128GB of storage, is set at Rs 14,999. For those needing more memory for smoother multitasking, the higher variant with 8GB of RAM and the same 128GB storage is priced at Rs 16,999. Customers can choose between two colour variants: Nebula Purple and Space Grey. While an official sale date is yet to be announced, the tablet is expected to be available soon on Flipkart, the Realme India website, and select offline retail stores.

Realme Pad 2 Lite Display, Specs And Features

The Realme Pad 2 Lite boasts a 10.95-inch display with a 2K resolution (1,920 x 1,200 pixels) and a 90Hz refresh rate, ensuring smooth visuals whether browsing the web, watching videos, or playing games. The display is optimized for eye comfort, featuring modes such as AI Eye Protection, Reading Mode, and Sunlight Mode, making it adaptable to different lighting conditions. The 450 nits peak brightness further enhances visibility, even in brightly lit environments.

One of the high points of the Realme Pad 2 Lite is its dual-tone vegan leather design, which adds a premium feel to a device in the budget category. The sleek design not only improves its aesthetics but also offers durability and comfort when held. On the software side, the tablet runs on Realme UI 5 for Pad, which is built on Android 14, providing a clean and intuitive user experience.

The Realme Pad 2 Lite’s 10.95-inch Eye Comfort display not only supports a 2K resolution but also a 90Hz refresh rate, promising fluid motion and sharp clarity in visuals. The display also incorporates multiple viewing modes like Dark Mode and Night Mode, enhancing usability across different environments.

At the heart of the tablet is the MediaTek Helio G99 processor, known for its solid performance in handling everyday tasks, apps, and light gaming. The tablet is configurable with up to 8GB of physical RAM, supplemented by an additional 8GB of virtual RAM for smoother app performance. The 128GB internal storage provides ample space for apps, files, and media, with expandable storage options available via microSD.

For photography and video calls, the tablet is equipped with an 8-megapixel rear camera and a front-facing camera designed for clear video chats and virtual meetings. The Realme Pad 2 Lite is powered by a robust 8,300mAh battery, which Realme claims can support up to 14.79 hours of continuous video playback. The device also comes with 15W SuperVOOC fast charging, ensuring quicker recharges through its USB Type-C port. For audio enthusiasts, the tablet is fitted with a quad-speaker system enhanced by OReality Audio, providing an immersive sound experience.
