Realme GT5 Pro Launched: Specs, Offers, Prices And More
The Realme GT5 Pro has made its debut in China and there is no official information about its global launch.
The Realme GT5 Pro, a true flagship phone, has been officially unveiled in China. Boasting shared specs with the OnePlus 12, the phone is the latest to come with top-tier Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chip, coupled with either 12GB or 16GB of LPDDR5X RAM and storage options ranging from 256GB to 1TB of UFS 4.0. Keeping things cool, the GT5 Pro incorporates a sizable 12,000mm2 vapour chamber.

The pre-orders start today, with shipments commencing on December 14. As an added benefit, each order will include a pair of Realme Buds Classic Edition 2 and customers will receive CNY 100 (or $15, €13, Rs 1,200) in credit for other purchases from Realme's online store in China. After applying the discount, the pricing is: 12/256GB model costs CNY 3,298 (€430, Rs 38,680), the 16/256GB model is CNY 3,598 (€470, Rs 42,260), the 16/512GB is CNY 3,898 (€510, Rs 45,700) and the top-tier 16GB/1TB variant is CNY 4,198 (€550, Rs 49,245).
At the forefront, the Realme GT5 Pro boasts a 6.78-inch AMOLED display panel with a resolution of 2780x1264px. It supports a maximum refresh rate of 144Hz, a touch sampling rate of 2,160Hz and an impressive 4,500 nits of maximum brightness. The panel can reach up to 1,000 nits under manual control and 1,600 nits with auto brightness on. Additionally, it features an embedded fingerprint scanner.
Similar to the newly-launched OnePlus 12, the Realme GT5 Pro flagsip device also comes equipped with a hefty 5,400 mAh battery, supporting by rapid 100W proprietary wired charging and 50W wireless charging.
Bringing back the nostalgia of the Air Gestures of the Samsung Galaxy S5, the new Realme GT5 Pro features a comparable set of gestures, including a palm unlock gesture. Realme claims that it is as secure as face unlock, though not as secure as a biometric unlock feature.
“When the display is off, just open your palm and bring it close to the screen to turn on the screen and quickly unlock it,” the handset maker said in a statement.
The new flagship from Realme comes with an upgraded rear camera configuration, featuring the identical 50MP LYT-808 main camera as the OnePlus 12 (1/1.4-inch, f/1.69) and an 8MP ultrawide lens (IMX355). Notably, the company has enhanced its camera zoom capabilities.
