The new model shows up two years after the launch of the last GT Pro model called the Realme GT 2 Pro, which was announced in 2022. The Realme GT 7 Pro packs in plenty of upgrades over the previous models but also introduces new hardware that will remain exclusive to the GT 7 Pro for a while. On the other hand, we have the OnePlus 12 that was launched on January 30. It is powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipset.

The Realme GT 7 Pro price in India will start at Rs 59,999 for the 12GB + 256GB variant. There's also a higher 16GB + 512GB option that will cost Rs 65,999.

The OnePlus 12 in available in a sole 12GB RAM and 256GB inbuilt storage variant and will be priced at Rs 64,999. 

Realme GT 7 Pro Vs OnePlus 12: Display

The Realme GT 7 Pro is equipped with a 6.78-inch LTPO AMOLED display that delivers a full-HD+ resolution and supports a smooth 120Hz refresh rate. The screen features a quad-curved design, enhancing its premium look and feel, while also supporting Dolby Vision and HDR10+ for an immersive viewing experience. Additionally, the device boasts an IP69 rating, ensuring robust protection against dust and water.

In comparison, the OnePlus 12 offers a slightly larger 6.82-inch LTPO 4.0 AMOLED panel with a higher quad-HD+ resolution of 1,440 x 3,168 pixels. It features an adaptive refresh rate ranging from 1Hz to 120Hz, ensuring both fluid motion and energy efficiency. The display is also capable of an impressive peak brightness of 4,500 nits, making it ideal for use in bright conditions.

The Realme GT 7 Pro debuts in India as the first smartphone powered by the latest Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset. This cutting-edge processor, built on a 3nm fabrication process, delivers significant enhancements in both performance and power efficiency compared to the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3, which is commonly found in many premium devices. The GT 7 Pro is paired with up to 16GB of LPDDR5X RAM and offers storage options of up to 512GB using UFS 4.0 technology, ensuring seamless multitasking and rapid data access. Realme's GT 7 Pro runs Realme UI 6.0, which is based on Android 15.

Meanwhile, the OnePlus 12 is powered by Qualcomm's Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipset, coupled with 12GB of LPDDR5X RAM and 256GB of UFS 4.0 internal storage. The device runs on OxygenOS 14, which is based on Android 14, delivering a smooth and customizable user experience. Both smartphones cater to users seeking top-tier performance and cutting-edge specifications.

The Realme GT 7 Pro is equipped with a versatile triple-camera system on the rear. It includes a 50-megapixel primary sensor (Sony IMX906), a 50-megapixel telephoto lens (Sony IMX882), and an 8-megapixel ultra-wide lens (Sony IMX355) for capturing diverse perspectives. The Realme GT 7 Pro launched in China with a robust 6,500mAh battery; however, the Indian version has a slightly smaller 5,800mAh capacity. Despite the reduction, it retains the 120W fast-charging capability seen in the Chinese model. Realme highlights an advantage of the smaller battery, claiming the phone can fully charge from 1 to 100 percent in just 30 minutes, offering convenience without compromising speed.

Meanwhile, the OnePlus 12 is powered by a 5,400mAh battery, supported by a 100W SuperVOOC wired charger for rapid recharging. Additionally, the device includes 50W wireless charging for cable-free convenience and 10W reverse wireless charging to power compatible accessories.
