The handset maker is gradually revealing information about the upcoming handsets, officially revealing the design and colourway of one of the models. Notably, several key details of the phones have already surfaced via leaks and Realme has now officially confirmed the launch date for the Realme 12 Pro 5G series in India.

Following several leaks and speculations, Realme has officially announced the release date for the Realme 12 Pro Series 5G in India, which is slated for January 29. Additionally, the handset maker has shared a new video featuring Shah Rukh Khan, highlighting the phone's impressive camera capabilities. Watch the teaser of the Realme 12 Pro series below:

The teaser highlights "flagship design" and "flagship photography," with the company affirming that the Realme 12 Pro Series 5G is dedicated to realising users' expectations.

Realme 12 Pro And Realme 12 Pro+ Specs, Features (Expected) 

The Realme 12 Pro series is officially confirmed to include a 50-megapixel Sony IMX890 sensor with optical image stabilisation (OIS). The vanilla Realme 12 Pro is expected to house a 32-megapixel telephoto camera with 2x optical zoom, while the Pro+ variant is anticipated to feature an OmniVision OV64B periscope telephoto shooter with 3x optical zoom.

Notably, the Realme 12 Pro+ will offer up to 6x lossless zoom and an impressive 120x digital zoom. As for front cameras, the Realme 12 Pro and Realme 12 Pro+ are likely to sport a 16-megapixel and 32-megapixel sensors, respectively.

The standard Realme 12 Pro is likely to feature a Snapdragon 6 Gen 1 chipset, while the Pro+ variant may come equipped with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 7s Gen 2 SoC. Both models are said to be powered by 5,000mAh batteries supporting 67W wired fast charging.

The Realme 12 Pro series models are anticipated to showcase 6.7-inch curved-edge full-HD+ AMOLED panels boasting a 120Hz refresh rate. Expected to run Android 14-based Realme UI 5, they are also set to include in-display fingerprint sensors.
