A Realme smartphone, likely the Indian variant of Realme 12 Pro+, has been spotted on Geekbench with the model number RMX3840.
The Realme 12 Pro 5G series is slated to make its debut in India on January 29. The smartphone lineup will include the Realme 12 Pro, the Realme 12 Pro+ and the purported Realme 12 Pro Max as well. Prior to the official launch, a Realme smartphone, likely the Indian variant of Realme 12 Pro+, has been spotted on Geekbench with the model number RMX3840. The device is said to feature 12GB of RAM, a Qualcomm Snapdragon 7 series SoC and is expected to set run on the Android 14 operating system (OS).
Scoring 1,025 points in single-core testing, the Realme smartphone with model number RMX3840, said to be the Indian variant of Realme 12 Pro+, was spotted on Geekbench, says a report by MySmartPrice.
Moreover, the motherboard section references "Parrot," potentially referring to the Qualcomm Snapdragon 7s Gen 2 chipset. This octa-core chipset is expected to operate at a clock speed of 1.96GHz, with the remaining 4 cores running at 2.4GHz.
Realme 12 Pro Series Specs, Features (Expected)
The Realme 12 Pro series is officially confirmed to include a 50-megapixel Sony IMX890 sensor with optical image stabilisation (OIS). The vanilla Realme 12 Pro is expected to house a 32-megapixel telephoto camera with 2x optical zoom, while the Pro+ variant is anticipated to feature an OmniVision OV64B periscope telephoto shooter with 3x optical zoom.
Notably, the Realme 12 Pro+ will offer up to 6x lossless zoom and an impressive 120x digital zoom. As for front cameras, the Realme 12 Pro and Realme 12 Pro+ are likely to sport a 16-megapixel and 32-megapixel sensors, respectively.
The standard Realme 12 Pro is likely to feature a Snapdragon 6 Gen 1 chipset, while the Pro+ variant may come equipped with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 7s Gen 2 SoC. Both models are said to be powered by 5,000mAh batteries supporting 67W wired fast charging.
The Realme 12 Pro series models are anticipated to showcase 6.7-inch curved-edge full-HD+ AMOLED panels boasting a 120Hz refresh rate. Expected to run Android 14-based Realme UI 5, they are also set to include in-display fingerprint sensors.
