Nothing May Launch A Smartwatch Soon. Here Are The Details
According to BIS certification, London-headquartered Nothing is working on a smartwatch with the model number D395.
Carl Pei's consumer tech brand Nothing may foray into the smartwatch category, as the device has received BIS certification, the media has reported. According to the BIS certification, London-headquartered Nothing is working on a smartwatch with the model number D395. Tipster Mukul Sharma had first spotted a trademark, dubbed "CMF By Nothing" a couple of months ago. This comes amid the company gearing up to launch the Nothing Phone (2), the successor to last year's Nothing Phone (1).
There is no clarity on whether the company will launch a flagship smartwatch
"While the #NothingPhone2 is right around the corner, if you remember, I spotted this trademark, dubbed CMF By Nothing a couple of months ago. Well, turns out it's a smartwatch. Have also spotted the Nothing D395 in the smartwatches category on the Indian BIS certification 😀 #Nothing#NothingWatch," tipster Sharma tweeted.

Interestingly, earlier this year, Nothing CEO, Pei bought Samsung's flagship Galaxy Watch 5 Pro just to learn about smartwatches and he found the smartwatch to be “useless”.
Meanwhile, Nothing is preparing for the launch of Nothing Phone (2) which is slated for next month, as the successor to the Nothing Phone (1).

While London-based Nothing is readying its next smartphone, the company is also working to introduce a new cable design for the upcoming Phone (2), which was recently shown off on Twitter by the company founder. However, Pei just posted the picture of the transparent cable without a caption and wrote "caption this" in the form of a GIF.
The upcoming cable from Nothing it still white, but the two USB-C plugs on either end have transparent plastic on top of a grey-coloured material with the “Nothing” logo etched into it.
It should be noted that Nothing has launched all its products with a transparent design so far, including the Nothing Phone (1) and the TWS earbuds.
