Nothing Phone 2a To Realme 12 Plus: List Of Smartphones To Hit The Indian Markets In March

Here is the list of smartphones that are expected to be released in the Indian markets for the month of March.

As March approaches, smartphone enthusiasts in India are eagerly looking forward to the unveiling of several cutting-edge devices, each promising innovative features and advancements in artificial intelligence. Here are some of the highly anticipated smartphones expected to make their debut in March 2024.

Nothing Phone 2a

Nothing Phone 2a is expected to make its grand entrance in India on March 5 in an event named 'Fresh Eyes'. Positioned as a slightly more affordable alternative to the Nothing Phone 2, it is expected to hit the market with a 6.7-inch OLED display, dual-camera setup, MediaTek Dimensity 7200 SoC, 8GB RAM, and 128GB internal storage. It will be operating on Nothing OS 2.5 based on Android 14 and will showcase the brand's hallmark transparent back design, albeit with potential variations in detailing.

The phone will feature a horizontally aligned dual-camera module on the rear, comprising a 50-megapixel primary sensor, accompanied by a 32-megapixel front-facing camera for selfies. With a refresh rate of 120Hz, the device promises an immersive viewing experience.

The phone is rumoured to boast a battery capacity ranging between 4,500mAh to 4,800mAh. If we talk about software, the Phone (2a) is anticipated to run on Nothing OS 2.5, built on the foundation of Android 14.

Xiaomi 14

It is expected to be powered by a Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 SoC and feature a 6.36-inch LTPO display with 1.5K resolution and an adaptive 120Hz refresh rate, including up to 12GB of LPDDR5 RAM and 1TB of UFS 4.0 storage.

In terms of the camera setup, co-engineered with Leica, it is expected to boast a 50-megapixel primary sensor with OIS and a Summilux lens, along with a 50-megapixel telephoto camera and another 50-megapixel ultra-wide angle sensor. Additionally, the handset is IP68 rated and houses a 4,610mAh battery with support for 90W fast charging and 50W wireless charging.

Samsung Galaxy A55

By the end of March or early April, Samsung is expected to unveil its latest addition to the A-series lineup – the Galaxy A55. Samsung Galaxy A55 boasts a 6.5-inch Full HD+ OLED display with a potential 120Hz refresh rate, this smartphone is anticipated to run on Samsung’s in-house Exynos 1480 processor. There are plenty of rumours that it will feature a triple camera setup but specific details are still undisclosed.

Vivo V30 Pro

The Vivo V30 Pro is expected to hit the Indian markets on February 28, 2024. It might come with a 6.78-inch FHD+ AMOLED display with 2800×1260 pixels resolution, HDR10+, 120Hz refresh rate, 100 per cent DCI-P3 colour gamut, and up to 2800 nits peak brightness. In terms of cameras, a 50MP Sony IMX920 sensor with f/1.88 aperture, OIS, and LED flash, a 50MP Samsung JN1 ultra-wide sensor with f/2.0 aperture, and a 12MP 2x telephoto portrait camera, and there could be a 50MP front camera has dual soft LED flash. The global model of the Vivo V30 Pro might come with Dimensity 8200. However, the confirmation of these specifications will be available once the device is launched officially in India.

Realme 12 Plus

Realme is gearing up for the launch of the Realme 12 Plus. Teasers on several platforms have hinted at the inclusion of a Sony OIS camera sensor. The company hasn't made any official announcement regarding the launch date yet.
