Infinix Smart 8 Plus was launched in India on Friday. The newest offering from Infinix comes with an octa-core MediaTek Dimensity chipset and a solid battery. If you are a camera lover then this phone comes equipped with AI-backed dual rear cameras and Magic Ring feature. The device comes with a user interface based on Android 13 Go Edition. It aligns with the existing models in the Infinix Smart 8 series, which were earlier launched in the country, including the Infinix Smart 8 and Infinix Smart 8 HD.

Infinix Smart 8 Plus has been launched in India in just one storage variant i.e., 4GB RAM + 128GB storage. The 4GB RAM + 64GB storage variant is priced at Rs 7,799. It comes in three colour options, namely — Galaxy White, Shiny Gold, and Timber Black.
Infinix Smart 8 Plus will go on sale in the country starting March 9 and it will be available exclusively on Flipkart.

The Infinix Smart 8 Plus comes with a 6.6-inch HD+ (1,612 x 720 pixels) display with a 90Hz refresh rate, a 180Hz touch sampling rate, and 500 nits of peak brightness level.
It is powered by a 12nm MediaTek Helio G36 SoC paired with 4GB of LPDDR4x RAM and 128GB of onboard storage. The RAM is virtually expandable up to an additional 4GB virtually, while the storage can be extended externally via a microSD card by up to 2TB. It ships with Android 13 Go Edition-based XOS 13.
In the camera department, the Infinix Smart 8 Plus features a dual rear camera setup comprising a 50-megapixel [f/1.9, (wide)] primary sensor and an AI-backed sensor with a quad-LED Ring Flash unit. Additionally, the front camera is an 8-megapixel sensor [f/2.0, (wide)] located within a centred hole-punch slot at the top of the display. The back camera records video at 1080 pixels at 30 frames per second. The device also incorporates Infinix's Magic Ring, a collapsible pill-shaped animated bar akin to Apple's Dynamic Island, providing comprehensive displays of notifications and more.
The Infinix Smart 8 Plus is equipped with a sizable 6,000mAh battery, supporting 18W wired fast charging. To ensure security, it features a side-mounted fingerprint sensor. Connectivity options include 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5.0, GPS, GLONASS, and USB Type-C. With a weight of 189g, the dimensions of the device measure 163.6mm x 75.6mm x 8.5mm.
