Honeywell Suono P2200 Review: Surprisingly Delightful Noise Cancellation At Shockingly Low Price

Honeywell Suono P2200 is priced at just Rs 1,499, but manages to punch way above its weight class.

Honeywell Suono P2200 Review: Remember when we listened to music on old-school Sony Walkmans? The super-plasticky and extremely uncomfortable headphones were nowhere close to being an audiophile's delight. However, the tinge-y sound signature we got out of them was nothing short of studio-level finesse for our yet-untrained ears. Honeywell's new Suono P2200 brings back some of that magic. Extremely lightweight, they are way more comfortable and snug when it comes to fit. But, the TWS earbuds' clever use of environmental noise cancellation (ENC) and no-nonsense sound signature make the P2200 a great choice for those who want punchy earbuds without burning a hole in their pockets.

Honeywell Suono P2200 Review: Quick Pointers

What I Love:

  • Long-lasting battery life (up to 54 hours)
  • Impressive sound quality for the price
  • Clever ENC capabilities
  • Low-latency gaming mode
  • Bluetooth 5.4 connectivity

What I Don’t:

  • Bass may be too deep for some listeners

Stellar Sound Quality, Gaming Mode

The Honeywell Suono P2200 earbuds boast dynamic audio with 6mm drivers in each earbud, delivering solid stereo sound that’s sure to please most casual listeners. While these earbuds aren’t going to rival high-end models in terms of pure sound clarity, they punch well above their weight for the price.

The bass, in particular, is deep and immersive — perfect for genres like pop, EDM, and rock. However, audiophiles who prefer a more balanced sound might find the bass a little overwhelming at times. Thankfully, there’s no distortion at higher volumes, and the audio remains surprisingly clear for budget earbuds.

For example, when I listened to the new Twenty One Pilots album, 'Clancy' entirely, the easy-listening tracks such as 'The Craving', 'Snap Back', or 'Oldies Station' shone easily. However, when you get into complex layerings, in songs such as 'Paladin Strait', 'Routines in the Night', or even the highly charged 'Next Semester', an audiophile might certainly wish to listen on a more premium headset to truly get into the groove. However, at a throw-away price, the Suono P2200 does a decent job, especially in keeping distortion to negligible levels.

For gamers, the 40ms low-latency gaming mode is a big plus, though it may not compete with top-tier gaming headsets. Still, for casual mobile gaming or streaming, the lag-free experience is a welcome addition.

Comfortable Design, Powerhouse Battery

At just 1,799, the Suono P2200 earbuds are remarkably comfortable for long listening sessions. Their lightweight design ensures that they sit snugly in your ears without causing discomfort, even after hours of use.

A big shoutout to the design of the charging case as well. Channelling true Marshall Minor TWS vibes, the faux leather looks are surely a headturner.

Battery life is one of the standout features of these earbuds. You’ll get up to nine hours of playback from a single charge, and the charging case extends this to a total of 54 hours. Whether you’re commuting, travelling, or just enjoying your day, you’ll have more than enough juice to last.

Plus, fast charging via USB-C means you won’t be waiting long to get back to your music or calls.

ENC Technology: Clear Calls, Clearer Music

One of the highlights of the Suono P2200 is its clever environmental noise cancellation (ENC) feature. Equipped with dual microphones, these earbuds reduce ambient sounds, ensuring that your calls come through crystal clear.

Whether you’re taking a ride in a raucous autorickshaw or working out in a crowded gym, the ENC helps filter out background noise, making your voice stand out more clearly.

While ENC works wonders for calls, the passive noise isolation provided by the earbuds isn’t as effective as active noise cancellation (ANC). They perform well in quieter environments but may struggle with louder settings.

If you're into sports or regular workouts, the Suono P2200 has you covered with its IPX5 rating. Whether you're sweating it out in the gym or caught in the rain on a run, these earbuds can handle it.

Honeywell Suono P2200 Review: Final Verdict

At Rs 1,799, the Honeywell Suono P2200 TWS earbuds offer fantastic value for money. With impressive sound quality, long battery life, ENC for clear calls and workout-ready durability, these earbuds stand out in the budget segment. The gaming mode and seamless Bluetooth connectivity are just the icing on the cake.

Of course, if you’re looking for deep customisation of sound or high-end features like ANC, you might need to look elsewhere. But for those seeking a dependable, affordable pair of earbuds for everyday use, these tick all the boxes. Whether you're using them for casual listening, calls, or a bit of gaming, the Honeywell Suono P2200 provides more than what you’d expect for the price.
