New Delhi: Homegrown audio brand Boult Audio on Friday launched its AirBass ProBuds that features Environmental Noise Cancellation (ENC) and a quad-mic setup. This pair of TWS earbuds claims to offer 100 minutes of playback time in 10 minutes of charge. The Boult AirBass ProBuds will be available at an introductory price of Rs 1,499 on Flikpart.com for a limited time. The company, however, did not mention the price that will be applicable once the initial launch offer is unavailable.

The Boult Audio AirBass ProBuds TWS buds will be available in black and white colours on e-commerce site Amazon India as well as Boult Audio’s website with a "standard industry" warranty of one year, the company said.

The Boult AirBass ProBuds comes with IPX5 sweat and water resistance and also features a touch sensor for easy and intuitive control of music and phone calls. The battery life enables up to six hours of listening time on a single charge. "These earbuds can be used separately as a monopod or else in stereo mode using both the earbuds after successful pairing," the company said in a statement.

The Boult AirBass ProBuds is claimed to have a uniquely built design that supports ergonomics. The buds are made out of high-quality and premium-finish ABS shell which also protects from water and sweat.

The earbuds are touch-sensitive and feature motion control that can be used to change volume, change tracks, and attend calls as well as activate voice assistant. The Boult Audio AirBass ProBuds comes with the latest Bluetooth 5.1 for fast pairing and stable connectivity over longer distances. In terms of charging capability, the Boult AirBass ProBuds comes with USB Type-C port.

The budget TWS earbuds segment in India is growing very fast and smartphone makers, as well as audio accessories makers, are regularly launching devices in this category. The Boult AirBass ProBuds will take on the likes of Noise Buds VS303 and Oppo Enco Air2 (read review) among others.
