Asus ROG Phone 6 series launching today: Expected specifications

After a series of rumours and leaks on platforms like Geekbench, 3C and TENAA, both the ROG Phone 6 and ROG Phone 6 Pro are finally being launched with the top-tier Qualcomm Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 SoCs. The Asus ROG Phone 6 is likely to feature a 6.78-inch OLED display with FHD+ resolution and a refresh rate of 165Hz and a whopping 18GB of RAM coupled with 1TB of storage. In terms of imaging, there could be a triple rear camera setup led by a 64MP primary sensor.

Also, the Taiwanese handset maker has not revealed further details of the ROG Phone 6's specs sheet yet. The company has only confirmed a few features, including the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 chipset and a 165Hz screen and a much-expected improved cooling feature. Asus is advertising the ROG Phone 6 as the "world's 1st IPX4 gaming phone" as the device would come with splash resistance.

The ROG Phone 6 may be powered by a 6,000mAh battery that supports 65W fast charging along with two USB Type-C charging ports to charge the phone easily even while gaming sessions.

However, not many details of the purported Asus ROG Phone 6 Pro are known as of now.
