CEO Tim Cook's Fake Instagram Account Followed By Several Top Apple Execs

Tim Cook's fake Instagram account came into existence only in July this year.

Apple CEO Tim Cook's fake account on Meta-owned Instagram which top company executives were following has been pulled down by the company. Cook's fake account was first spotted by 9to5Mac and it has been successfully taken down by Instagram. Several top executives at Apple such as Alan Dye of Human Interface Design and Lisa Jackson of Apple VP for Environment, Policy and Social Initiatives were following Cook's fake Instagram account. The Apple CEO's fake Instagram account was operating under the name "tim.d.cook".

It should be noted that Cook has kept his social media presence to X, formerly Twitter. His profile on the micro-blogging platform has existed since 2013 and his social media habits are unlikely to change anytime soon. He is also present on Chinese micro-blogging site Weibo, the report added.
