Buyers Are Returning Apple iPhone 16 Within A Month? Here's What We Know

Several users have highlighted how Apple has shipped the iPhone 16 without its main feature, the Apple Intelligence.

It seems like a number of consumers who bought any device from the latest offering from Apple, iPhone 16 series, are now returning it. Users are expressing on social media platforms and YouTube about how Apple released almost nothing new in the iPhone 16 series and how they want their old trade-ins back.

According to multiple posts online, it appears that users believe that the key upgrade that the iPhone 16 series was going to bring was Apple Intelligence, and despite a month of its launch, the majority of Apple Intelligence features are still not out.

Why Are Buyers Returning Their New iPhone 16?

According to a YouTuber who goes by the username CarterPCs, the only thing new about the iPhone 16 series is the capture button. In a 36-second long video on YouTube, the creator talked about "how Apple shipped the iPhone 16 without its main feature, the Apple Intelligence."

Another YouTuber, JM Gaming, in a video talked about how the iPhone 16 is almost identical to the iPhone 15 variants except for a few upgrades here and there.

A user commented on this video and wrote, "I also returned the iPhone 16 pro that I bought last week. Thought I wanted a smaller phone but I was not happy with it. Realised I’m still happy with my iPhone 15 pro max."

A YouTuber posted a 15-minute video to explain why he returned his new iPhone 16. The reasoning that he gave for the return ranged from its performance to its design. He also faced Wi-Fi and connectivity issues with the latest iPhone.

One of the most frequent issues that users are having with the new iPhone 16 is its control button on the side. Apparently users are touching the control button by mistake a bit too often, which is why the camera gets opened on their handsets. Users might not notice it immediately, which can cause battery drainage and some awkward-looking photos getting saved in their gallery.
