WATCH: Two Buses Collide Head-On In Tamil Nadu’s Salem, 30 Injured

New Delhi: At least 30 people were injured after two buses collided head-on in Tamil Nadu’s Salem’s district.

The private bus driver identified as P. Arunachalam has also been admitted to the hospital.
A video recorded from a CCTV camera positioned inside one of the private buses shows the vehicle moving at a constant speed and suddenly another vehicle from the opposite direction hits it from front.
The CCTV footage, which has now gone viral, also shows that the front portion of the bus was completely damaged within seconds.
The accident occurred when a private bus carrying 30 passengers travelling from Edappadi collided with another bus of a private college, which was travelling from Thiruchengode, with around 55 students on board.

The Konganapuram Police officials and ambulances rushed to the spot on the receiving information about the accident.
The police have registered a case in this regard.
