Six Killed In Car-Truck Collision In Tenkasi District Of Tamil Nadu

A cement lorry and car collision resulted in the death of six people in the Tenkasi district of Tamil Nadu.

Six people were killed in a road accident after a car collided with a cement truck on Sunday near Puliyangudi in the Tenkasi district of Tamil Nadu. A video shared by the news agency ANI, showed that police were present at the spot to conduct further investigation.

The impact of the accident crushed the car whereas the truck veered off the road into a grassy area.

Tenkashi’s top police officials reached the spot for inspection. However, it is not yet clear how the accident happened.

The impact of the accident resulted in the crushing of the car whereas the truck veered off the road into a grassy area. As per ANI, the police said the car was coming from Courtallam when the incident occurred. Five of the passengers died on the spot, one passed away while undergoing treatment in Puliyangudi Government Hospital.
