Man From Andhra Pradesh Found Dead In Isha Yoga Centre In Coimbatore
The police suspect it to be a case of suicide and they also reportedly recovered a suicide note from his room.
Chennai: A 32-year-old man from Andhra Pradesh was found dead in his room in Isha Yoga Center in Coimbatore on Friday. The man had come to attend a six-month yoga training program on July 15.
According to a report on IANS, the police identified the deceased as Gullu Ramana of Visakhapatnam.
Coimbatore District Rural Police SP Badrinarayanan said, Ramana was expected to attend the yoga session at 5.30 am on Friday. However, he did not turn up for the session. By 7.30 am, when his roommates went back to the room, they found him dead.
The police suspect that the death would have happened between 5.30 am and 7.30 am since all the roommates were attending the session during that period. The police also suspect it to be a case of suicide and they reportedly recovered a suicide note from his room.

Later, his body was taken to Coimbatore Medical College Hospital for autopsy.
Badrinarayanan said, the cause of the dead would be known only after the post-mortem. However, the family members of the deceased have been informed and they are on their way, he said.

The police have registered a case under Section 174 (Police to enquire and report on suicide etc.) of the Code of Criminal procedure.
