'Budaun Boys Killed In Talibani Manner': UP CM Yogi At ABP News 'Ghoshnapatra' Show

When questioned by ABP News journalist Rohit Sawal about the murder of two children in Badaun, CM Yogi described it as a "tragic incident".

Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath reacted to the Budaun Double Murder Case on Saturday, labelling the killings as 'Talibani' in nature. The remarks by the Chief Minister came in response to queries regarding the incident during the 'Ghoshnapatra' programme on ABP News.

When questioned by ABP News journalist Rohit Sawal about the murder of two people in Badaun, CM Yogi described it as a "tragic incident". He expressed dismay at the brutal manner in which the two children were killed.

When asked about a statement made by a Samajwadi leader that "BJP orchestrates riots right before elections," Yogi responded, "We (BJP) do not stage riots; we have freed people and society from rioters. (Hum aise logon ko dhang se thikaane lagate hain). Rioting is not in our nature."

Yogi stated, "Uttar Pradesh will progress in accordance with its constitutional obligations to development and the sentiments of its people." Our actions will be guided by the law, ensuring the state's well-being. We are committed to humanity and will take all necessary steps to reform criminals."

Yogi On 'Bulldozer' Remark: 

When asked about a statement made by former Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister and Samajwadi Party Chief Akhilesh Yadav that the "Bulldozer" works on everyone except BJP members, Yogi responded, "No, it is not like that. It works for everyone. Whoever comes in the path of development must be bulldozed". 

On Friday, the police apprehended the second accused in the case, Javed. He had evaded authorities by switching off his mobile phone and fleeing the scene for days after the murder. Javed surrendered at the satellite bus stand in Bareilly after a video of him went viral.

SSP Alok Priyadarshi had said that Javed, the sibling of accused Sajid and the second suspect in the Badaun double murder case, was apprehended in Bareilly. Under pressure from the Rs 25,000 reward on his head, he surrendered at the satellite police post of Baradari police station in Bareilly. Further investigation will uncover the motives behind the murders.
