UP Election 2022: Akhilesh Yadav Lashes Out At BJP, Says 'UP Needs 'Yogya' Govt & Not Yogi Govt'
In all these days, the BJP has got support from the people of Bundelkhand. But the double-engine government has failed to deliver on their promises, he said.
New Delhi: Launching a scathing attack on Yogi Adityanath-led Uttar Pradesh government, Samajwadi Party supremo Akhilesh Yadav on Wednesday urged all those parties, that are unhappy with the economic policies of the BJP, to stand together.
Addressing the public at the Samajwadi Party rally, Akhilesh Yadav said that UP needs a Yogya government (able government) and not Yogi government. In all these days, the BJP has got support from the people of Bundelkhand. But the double-engine government has failed to deliver on their promises, he said.
Targetting the UP government, Akhilesh further said, "The BJP should tell when will the inflation end. When will action be taken on those who leaked the paper?"
Attacking the BJP, the SP president further said, "These people are liars. Talking of the temple, creating world records by changing names...the public will change the government. The public is standing with us. There is no confusion in the alliance."
"Those who are responsible for the inflation are enemies of the poor. They ran jeeps over the farmers. The youth are unemployed," he said.
Citing the example of West Bengal, Akhilesh Yadav urged all the opposition parties to come together and help defeat the BJP in Uttar Pradesh.
