'Kangana Ranaut Go Back': Congress Workers Show Black Flags To BJP's Mandi Candidate In Spiti
As Kangana embarks on her maiden bid for a seat in the Lower House, she faces a formidable opponent in Congress heavyweight Vikramaditya Singh, the son of late former Chief Minister Virbhadra Singh.
New Delhi: Congress workers displayed black flags and shouted slogans against BJP Mandi candidate Kangana Ranaut during her visit on Monday to Himachal Pradesh's Kaza in the Lahaul & Spiti district.
Ranaut was accompanied by former Chief Minister and Leader of the Opposition Jairam Thakur, and addressed a public rally as part of her campaign, reported news agency ANI.

LoP Jairam Thakur responded on black flag shown to Kangana Ranaut, saying, "I am disappointed with the Congress Party's deadly attack on our convoy... The district administration is responsible for all this. They permitted them (Congress party) to organise their program when our public rally was already scheduled... It shows that the Congress party is frustrated due to their defeat".

In Mandi, Bollywood star Kangana Ranaut is up against Congress leader Vikramaditya Singh, son of the late former CM Virbhadra Singh.
Speaking to ANI on Monday, Vikramaditya Singh said, "In south India, BJP is completely wiped out and, in north India, it will be reduced to half...BJP will not be able to cross the mark of 200 seats...In the country, a strong government of I.N.D.I.A alliance will come to power...In Himachal Pradesh, we will register a strong performance in all four Lok Sabha Parliamentary seats and six assembly seats (bypolls)."

This is Kangana's maiden bid for a seat in the Lower House. The National Award-winning actor has said she will step away from the film world if she wins the election.
