New Delhi: At least three people died after a fire broke out at the Transport Municipal Corporation complex in Chhattisgarh's Korba district on Monday. Banks, electronics, and clothing stores in the complex were engulfed in flames as workers on the upper floors jumped down from windows.
Three people died in the fire incident and the injured have been taken to the hospital for immediate medical treatment.

According to sources, efforts are still on to control the fire through fire engines. Ten fire tenders were rushed to the hospital to bring the blaze under control.

Earlier on Sunday, a massive fire that broke out in godowns in the Gangadham area of Pune was brought under control after hours of efforts from the firefighters. Thick black smoke was rising out of the spot where firefighters were working to put out the blaze. While there were no reports of any casualty, 22 fire tenders reached the spot after the blaze erupted.
The fire engulfed around 20 to 25 godowns which contained different materials. The residents in nearby areas were evacuated for safety.
Late last month, a fire broke out in a godown on the Pune-Ahmednagar road in the Wagholi area of Maharashtra's Pune district. The incident occurred in the wee hours of the morning informed the Pune Metropolitan Region Development Authority's (PMRDA) fire department, adding that the fire has been brought under control using 2 fire tenders.
The PMRDA fire department, the godown was stocked with dairy products such as cheese, milk, butter cream, etc.
However, products worth lakhs and a pick-up tempo were damaged in the fire.
