'Pak-Loving People Ruling Bengal': BJP Says ISI Agents Working Against Country From State
Bengal BJP Chief Sukanta Majumdar has hit out at CM Mamata Banerjee saying that the state is being ruled by Pakistan-loving people
West Bengal BJP President Sukanta Majumdar has lashed out at CM Mamata Banerjee-led state government and alleged that suspected agents of the Pakistani spy agency, Inter-Services Intelligence (ISI), were not only staying in the state but also using it as a base for their anti-national activities. Speaking to the ANI, Majumdar said that Bengal has a government that loves Pakistan, adding that people from ISI are working against the country's interests
"We have a Pakistan-loving government here in West Bengal. This is why people working against the country's interests, especially ISI agents, are not only finding a safe refuge but are also using Bengal as a base for their nefarious activities," he said.

Majumdar's statement came after reports that a 36-year-old man, allegedly working as a spy for Pakistan, was arrested in Kolkata on Saturday evening, the agency stated. They added that several sensitive documents were seized from the said ISI suspect's possession.
Reacting to the incident, the BJP leader said that Pakistan-based ISI agents were "receiving support from the chief minister and her government". As of now, there has been no response from the ruling Trinamool Congress.
Notably, earlier this year, a row erupted after a picture of a Class 10 test paper directing students to mark 'Azad Kashmir' on India's map went viral. The Pakistan-occupied Kashmir (PoK) is dubbed as 'Azad Kashmir' across the border.
Several BJP leaders shared photos of the test paper on social media, including Majumdar and then national vice president Dilip Ghosh.
The leaders accused the Mamata government of trying to "create an anti-India mentality" among young and impressionable minds, ANI reported.
Notably, the test papers were published by the West Bengal Board of Secondary Education (WBBSE).
