Gujarat CM Bhupendra Patel has Inaugurated the Khel Maha Kumbh 2.0 in Ahmedabad. Bhupendra Patel progressed with the Curtain Raiser event for the registration of the Khel Maha Kumbh 2.0. He further mentioned about the noble idea of ‘Khele Te Khile’, by stating the seeds of it were sowed with the inspiration of Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi, and has now matured into a banyan tree today.

The athletes coming in for the registration were even assured of all the assistance and help as per the requirements which will further boost the rate of participation for the upcoming event. The Gujarat CM laid emphasis on the facts that earlier there were no such news or huge image of the state of Gujarat in the area of sports but ever since the emergence of Khel Maha Kumbh, the state has seen a whole different level of transformation in sports and now getting the well-deserved recognition nationwide. Minister for Sports, Youth and Culture Shri Harsh Sanghavi stated the importance and emergence of bright future of sportspersons and for the youth to bring laurels to the state and the country overall.
Rs. 45 crore will be given to winners of various sports in the Khel Mahakumbh, which will see major changes this time around. He further stated that alongside 35 games, 4 new sports like Woodball, Sepak Collision, Beach Volleyball, and Beach Handball have been added. Started in 2010, the Khel Maha Kumbh will hopefully provide the country with more future stars as the state prepares to embrace the positive-spirited multi-sport event.
