Praveen Kumar won a silver medal in the high jump at the Tokyo Paralympic Games 2020. He set a new Asian record in Men's High Jump (T64) with a jump of 2.05m.
With Praveen's silver, India's medal tally has gone up to 11 medals. India had 12 Paralympic medals before the start of the tournament this year, now India has 23 medals. This was Praveen's debut at Paralympic Games.
