Cristiano Ronaldo Comes Off Bench To Score Two Goals For Juventus In Comeback Game Post Covid-19 Recovery

Coming off the bench to substitute Argentine striker Pablo Dybala in the second half of the game against Spezia, Ronaldo got his name on the scoring sheet just three minutes after coming on the field as he found the back of the net and helped Juventus take the lead for the second time in the Serie A encounter.

Cristiano Ronaldo made an impactful return for Juventus in Italy's top flight soccer league, Serie A, as the talismanic Portuguese striker scored two goals for his club in his first game against Spezia post recovering from dreaded coronavirus. Coming off the bench to substitute Argentine striker Pablo Dybala in the second half of the game against Spezia, Ronaldo got his name on the scoring sheet just three minutes after coming on the field as he found the back of the net and helped Juventus take the lead for the second time in the match. Ronaldo's first goal came courtesy an accurate pass from Alvaro Morata in the 59th minute of the match. Ronaldo doubled up his goal scoring efforts as he converted a second half penalty in the 76th minutes of the game to help the defending champions pull off a gritty 4-1 win in a 5-goal thrilling contest over Serie A minnows. The 35-year-old goal poacher converted the penalty in fine style by tricking the goalkeeper. Ronaldo dodged by goalie by showing that he was going to pump in the spot-kick hard but instead chipped the ball delicately down the center of the goal. Alvaro Morata and Adrien Rabiot scored Juve's other goals after Tommaso Pobega opened the scoring for Spezia at Turin. Ronaldo tested positive for Covid-19 on October 13 amidst international duty with his national team Portugal and had to fly back to Turin on a private air ambulance. With 'CR7' placing himself in self isolation at home, he could not feature in one of the UEA Nations League game for his country, besides missing out four Juventus fixtures. Ronaldo fans around the world hoped that the Portuguese international  would make a comeback in Juventus' high octane UEFA Champions League encounter against Barcelona on Wednesday but much to their disappointment,  the 35-year-old star striker tested positive yet again ahead of the match.
