As the sixth edition of the Pro Kabaddi League is about to start within a week's time, 12 teams from all across the country will compete for three months in the battle among the best . The sixth season is scheduled to commence in Chennai on October 7, 2018, at the Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium and the champion will be crowned on January 5, this year, in Mumbai Maharashtra.

This season among other important notable signings, retention of Rahul Chaudhari for 1.29 crores during the auction shows that the Titans are willing to assemble and maintain the core strength of their team; Nilesh Salunke, Mohsen Maghsoudloujafari, Vishal Bhardwaj, Rakshith, Sombir Gulia were the five players retained by them in the auction earlier this year.

Replacing Naveen Kumar in the 6th season, Kilaru Jagmohan has been signed as the new head coach. Being one of the most experienced coaches in the country, Jagmohan has been a part of the Sports of Authority and has the experience of working with the likes of India, Bangladesh and England at the Kabaddi World Cup, 2016.

Star defender Vishal Bhardwaj performed exceptionally well in the last season, scoring a total of 71 tackle points. And now with Abozar Mohajermighani and Farhad Milaghardan getting added up in the squad will further enhance Titan’s defense.

Abozar Mohajermighani, who played for the Gujarat Fortunegiants last season, is one of the deadliest defenders in the league. Mohajermighani, who hails from Iran, was signed for 76 Lakhs by the Titans in the auction.
