Telugu Titans, who earlier made it to the final stages two times in 5 seasons could possibly win this season as the franchise from the city of Hyderabad in Telangana have proven to be a great competitor in the league over the years

As the sixth edition of the Pro Kabaddi League is about to start within a week's time, 12 teams from all across the country will compete for three months in the battle among the best . The sixth season is scheduled to commence in Chennai on October 7, 2018, at the Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium and the champion will be crowned on January 5, this year, in Mumbai Maharashtra. Telugu Titans, who earlier made it to the final stages two times in 5 seasons could possibly win this season as the franchise from the city of Hyderabad in Telangana have proven to be a great competitor in the league over the years. 1: Having a consistent star raider Having an exceptional 666 points in 79 matches’ raid points, which is the most by any player, Rahul Chaudhari is a delight for anyone to have in the team. His raiding skills can possibly help Telugu Titans win the title this season. 2: Strategy of retaining star player Rahul Chaudhari This season among other important notable signings, retention of Rahul Chaudhari for 1.29 crores during the auction shows that the Titans are willing to assemble and maintain the core strength of their team; Nilesh Salunke, Mohsen Maghsoudloujafari, Vishal Bhardwaj, Rakshith, Sombir Gulia were the five players retained by them in the auction earlier this year. 3: Introduction of a new mentor Replacing Naveen Kumar in the 6th season, Kilaru Jagmohan has been signed as the new head coach. Being one of the most experienced coaches in the country, Jagmohan has been a part of the Sports of Authority and has the experience of working with the likes of India, Bangladesh and England at the Kabaddi World Cup, 2016. 4: Having a powerful defense Star defender Vishal Bhardwaj performed exceptionally well in the last season, scoring a total of 71 tackle points. And now with Abozar Mohajermighani and Farhad Milaghardan getting added up in the squad will further enhance Titan’s defense. 4: Adding a new deadly defender Abozar Mohajermighani, who played for the Gujarat Fortunegiants last season, is one of the deadliest defenders in the league. Mohajermighani, who hails from Iran, was signed for 76 Lakhs by the Titans in the auction.
