Geeta Phogat's Cryptic Post Goes Viral After Vinesh Phogat Omits Uncle Mahavir In 'Thank You Note'
Vinesh Phogat expressed gratitude to everyone who contributed to her inspiring journey, including her coaches, parents, and husband, but did not mention Mahavir Phogat.
Geeta Phogat's cryptic post went viral on social media after her cousin, Vinesh Phogat, forgot to mention their uncle Mahavir Phogat in her emotional thank-you note before returning to India.
In her note, Vinesh expressed gratitude to everyone who contributed to her inspiring journey, including her coaches, parents, and husband, but did not mention Mahavir Phogat. Fans speculate that Geeta's post is a response to this oversight.

आज नहीं तो कल
Geeta Phogat's husband, Pawan Kumar, also reacted to Vinesh Phogat's post.

Meanwhile, Mahavir Phogat in an interaction with ANI said he would welcome Vinesh like a gold medallist.
"We were hopeful that the verdict will be in our favour but there is no scope for anything after the verdict given by the CAS. When Vinesh returns on the 17th, we will welcome her like a Gold Medalist. We will try to persuade her to prepare for the 2028 Olympics. We will also prepare Sangeeta Phogat and Ritu Phogat for the 2028 Olympics," Mahavir said to ANI.
Vinesh Phogat returned to India on Saturday (August 17) after the Court of Arbitration for Sport (CAS) rejected her plea for a joint-silver medal. The Indian grappler, who was disqualified from her gold medal bout in the 50 kg wrestling event due to being slightly overweight, ended her 2024 Olympics campaign without a medal. Had she not been disqualified, a silver medal would have been assured, even if she did not win gold.
