New Delhi: Mahendra Singh Dhoni like many of his cricketing colleagues is spending quality time with his wife Sakshi and daughter Ziva at his farmhouse amid the COVID-19 induced national lockdown which has seen all sporting activities come to a complete standstill. While 'Mahi' who has been spotted via videos on social media playing with his daughter in his farmhouse's lush green lawns, the latest video posted on Instagram showed the CSK and India cricket icon sporting a full-grown grey beard, leaving fans nostalgic about their cricket hero and also brewing up comments over him getting old. The grey beard hasn't gone down too well with the fans and they want Dhoni to get back to cricketing action whenever possible. In fact, Dhoni's mother reacted to the image and the grey beard that he was sporting. "Yes, I have seen his new look but he is not that old. No child is ever old for any mother," Dhoni's mother was quoted as saying by BDcrictime. Dhoni's return to professional cricket was one of the burning topics building up to the 2020 season of the Indian Premier League and videos of him training at the Chennai Super Kings camp at Chennai in front of scores of his fans were hogging the limelight in the build-up to the tournament. But the former India skipper's return to the cricket field has been put on hold as the 13th edition of the cash-rich league has been postponed by the BCCI due to coronavirus pandemic. His grey beard has also added fuel to the stories that Dhoni should retire. But his fans won't let that happen anytime soon.
