What Next For SRH In IPL 2025? Here's What Skipper Pat Cummins Has To Say

GT Vs SRH: After SRH's defeat to GT on Friday, their road to playoffs is all but over. Here's what their skipper has to say.

GT Vs SRH: Sunrisers Hyderabad continue their abysmal run of form in IPL 2025, as the 2024 runners-up have now lost 7 matches in the tournament, with only three wins to their name.

After their defeat to GT, SRH remain 9th in the points table with 6 points and a Net Run Rate (NRR) of -1.190.

The side have completely underperformed in all departments, as their collective effort has hardly been effective enough to influence the result of the match.

In their latest match against GT, the side were awful in the field, with many players committing silly errors to give away extra runs.

The bowling has been taken to cleaners by opposition batters, with them constant plundering 200+ runs on the 2016 champions.

As their playoff hopes are all but over, their last 4 matches are nothing short of a formality, and a win will merely be seen as a consolation in what has been a dismal campaign.

Skipper Pat Cummins admitted his errors after the match by stating himself 'guilty as anyone', and that, they have not just been at their 'best' this year.

Here's What Pat Cummins Said After The Match

Pat Cummins (Sunrisers Hyderabad Captain):

"Couple of things. Powerplay with the ball wasn't too great. I am probably as guilty as anyone. We let them get 20 or 30 extra just with some bad balls. We should have hung on to a couple of catches in the middle, I am guilty there as well."

"They are class batters. They don't do anything outlandish. If we bowl bad balls they just put it away. They are quality, they know this venue too well. We just weren't quite at our best. It's a really good wicket. Going for 140 off the last 14 was actually a decent, pretty good effort from the whole bowling group. A bridge too far."

"[Abhishek finding form again] He batted nicely. He and Travis started well. Some glimmers there with Nitish at the end so unfortunately we left a bit too much for the end. We can cling on to some hope, it's a big auction last year so this group's gonna be together for 3 years hopefully so lots to play for."

"[On the 90,000 crowd] I looked around a couple of times to see any spare seats. It's an amazing venue to play. They were nice and loud."
