Updated IPL 2023 Points Table, Orange Cap And Purple Cap List After CSK vs KKR IPL 2023 Match

Defending champions Gujarat Titans are top side in IPL 2023 Points Table at present with 16 points. GT will lock horns with Sunrisers Hyderabad on Monday.

Half-centuries from Nitish Rana and Rinku Singh powered Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) to an important six-wicket win over Chennai Super Kings (CSK), keeping KKR alive in Indian Premier League (IPL) 2023 Playoffs race. Batting first, Chennai Super Kings (CSK) could manage only 144 runs in their 20 overs which KKR chased down comfortably with 6 wickets in hand and nine balls to spare. 'Newly-appointed' Nitish Rana-led Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR), at present, are at number seven position in IPL 2023 Points Table.

For Kolkata Knight Riders (12 points from 13 IPL matches) to make it to the Playoffs, they need some other results in their favour. Same goes for Chennai Super Kings (CSK) as after shocking loss to KKR in their final league stage home match at Chepauk, the 4-time IPL winners CSK (15 points) now depend on other results and see if they manage to finish in the top two in IPL 2023 Points Table by the end of league stage matches.

Earlier on Sunday, Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) crushed Rajasthan Royals (RR) by 112 runs. By virtue of this massive win over last year's runners-up, RCB moved to fifth position in IPL 2023 Points Table with 12 points. The big margin win over RR also helped RCB improve their Net Run Rate (NRR). Rajasthan Royals (RR) dropped to 6th spot and their chances of qualifying from IPL 2023 playoffs has suffered a massive setback.
